How to Apply for Tuition Assistance at Randolph School

Posted by Glynn Below - 30 June, 2017

If you’ve made it to this blog post, you’re likely seriously considering how to afford Randolph’s tuition. We know it’s expensive, but it’s worth it. If Randolph is the place for your child and your family, if you are committed to our mission and educational philosophy, we want you to explore options regardless of your ability to pay. And we’re here to help.

We guide families through the tuition assistance application process with conversations about a family’s unique set of circumstances. It’s not unusual to have two to four conversations with a family before the process is complete. Because a family must apply each year, we review each student’s application to determine the need-based award. We also serve the entire school enrollment, helping the nearly 13% of current students who receive aid.

Explore our website within the Admissions tab, tuition and tuition assistance for much detailed information about our application process.

We partner with a third party program to collect and review financial information. The School and Student Services is a division of the National Association of Independent Schools. SSS offers outstanding assistance with the application process and I recommend reviewing their resources.

  • Complete Parent Financial Statement at
  • Upload tax documents to the secure SSS site

For new students, the admissions process must conclude before an award can be considered from a completed tuition assistance application. Our Tuition Assistance Committee (Head of School, Assistant Head of School for Academics, Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations, Director of Institutional Advancement, Director of Admissions) reviews applications and takes into consideration the recommended award from SSS. An award decision can then be given, and the family responds generally within two weeks.

Finally, our Tuition Assistance process is managed year round. Talk to us if you're interested in applying for assistance. We're listening.
